Stainless Steel 317L Sheet and Plate is a low-carbon, austenitic stainless steel which provides outstanding resistance toward corrosion especially in acidic and chloride environment. It contains usually 18-20% of chromium, 3-4% molybdenum with 0.03% carbon and nickel along with manganese. Low concentration of carbon enhances weldability along with reducing carbide formation. Its tensile strength ranges between 500-700 MPa, the yield strength is about 205 MPa, and elongation varies between 40-50%.

High resistance to corrosion by chlorides and acids available as sheets and plates from a thickness of 3mm to 100mm in width to 2 meters. The hot-rolled product allows heavy usage because it produces a tough and durable finish.
With high corrosion resistance, the cold rolling provides cold rolled sheets and plates that range in thickness from 0.3mm to 6mm, with widths reaching up to 1.5 meters. In the case of cold rolling, it leaves the surface very smooth and precise for aesthetic and high-precision uses.
They have been designed with the patterned surface for superior friction and slip resistance. Chequered sheets and plates provide superior resistance to corrosion. These products are available from 1.5mm up to 6mm thickness in custom sizes as per application requirements.
These sheets and plates are superior in corrosion resistance and perforated holes for ventilation, filtering, and aesthetic purposes. Common sizes range from 0.5mm to 6mm thick, and custom hole patterns and diameter sizes are offered according to several industrial and architectural needs.
