Stainless steel 310H tubing is an austenitic grade with high chromium and nickel content, typically 25% chromium and 20% nickel It contains small amounts of manganese, silicon and carbon for resistance to high temperature oxidation and corrosion. Mechanical characteristics of 310H include high tensile strength, typically about 515 MPa, and good tensile strength at high temperatures It has a yield strength of about 205 MPa, with a high stretch, making it ideal for hot applications such as furnaces, heat exchangers and chemical processors
