AWS Class E410-16 electrodes are mainly made from ferritic stainless steel, containing about 11–13% chromium and low carbon content, which guarantees corrosion resistance and solid strength. A small amount of manganese, silicon, and nickel is included to improve weldability and toughness. These electrodes deliver weld deposits with excellent tensile strength, moderate hardness, and good ductility, making them perfect for structural applications. E410-16 features stable arc characteristics, minimal spatter, and easy slag removal, resulting in smooth, defect-free welds that maintain their mechanical integrity even in moderate temperatures and corrosive environments.
