Stainless Steel 321H flanges are essentially iron-based with a composition of about 17-19% chromium, 9-12% nickel, and up to 0.6% titanium. The presence of titanium stabilizes the alloy against sensitization, thus suitable for high-temperature applications. The mechanical properties of 321H include tensile strength at 515-860 MPa, yield strength at 205 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. The material provides very good resistance against oxidation, corrosion, and scaling at high temperature.
