Stainless steel 317L is a low-carbon, corrosion-resistant material, composed primarily of steel, chromium (18%), nickel (13%) and molybdenum (3%) and produces the low-carbon alloy for its resistant properties is greater and improves weldability. Mechanical properties include high tensile strength, typically between 520 and 700 MPa, and good elongation of 40-50%. Provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking, makes SS 317L pipe strong, ideal for chemical, petrochemical and marine environments, with excellent formability and weldability.
