Stainless Steel 316 Nuts are an austenitic alloy containing 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum. This composition makes them more resistant to corrosion, especially in a chloride environment, hence suitable for marine and chemical industries. The mechanical properties include tensile strength up to 520-700 MPa, excellent impact resistance, and good ductility. It is also resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.
